Please give this a shot, as it might alleviate a few of those problems: Ī small handful of these issues may be very easily solvable, but there are others that may require some time for us to figure out. I can promise you all that we never ran into some of those issues throughout any of our testing (neither internal nor external I myself have played through the game upwards of 20 times in the full), so it has been shocking to see these things happen. To those who have not been able to start up the game at all, or are finding out of place softlocks and freezes in just the first level of the game, my only theory at the moment is that this may be related to still having that leftover data. From what I've been able to determine, there are certain things that we did not foresee being a problem due to players still having leftover data from any of our previous demo builds that they may have played. I know the nice folks from 1C have been addressing as many issues as possible on these forums the last few days. We have a very small staff and I am trying not to overwork Nathan OR myself to the point of exhaustion. Worth noting also that I am still recovering from physically injuring my arms from overworking on this game, but I'm doing everything that I can (limited as it is). I have been compiling notes for everything I can find, both from these forums and keeping an eye on streams on Twitch and YouTube. These days I am only able to get him on Saturdays, which tends to be one of his only days off, but he's been very dedicated in doing as much as he possibly can. Our lead programmer, Nathan, is at the time of this post, very enveloped in another work project, and therefore has very limited time to work on TOME. Despite everything, I hope you've all been enjoying it so far I wanted to update about a few things in general:įirst, something important in regards to the pace of which we can make fixes. First of all, thank you all very much for your feedback, for taking time to play through the game and letting us know about the issues that have been popping up. Hey everyone, Chris here, lead developer of TOME.
